All our own work
Models created by Jim & Rob Lloyd
All of the figures in this section have been sculpted and produced by myself
or my brother Robert Lloyd. Rob lives and works in Germany. All are lead/white
metal.
My figures are from a series of medieval toy soldiers that I produced, mostly
to order, in the 1980's, initially I will be showing knights from the Battle of
Lewes 1264, as time progresses and I locate more of them, I will show others and
other figures that I have sculpted.
All of Robs figures are made to order and his style is distinctive,
reflecting his background as an artist and historical researcher. Many have been
made to capture the character and costume of contemporary illustrations.

A Roman Onager (by Jim Lloyd)
I sculpted it as a kit of metal parts with real hide.
It was too complex to produce. It is 54mm and when the sling is
attached, throws a small piece of gravel right across the room.
